Keryflex Nail Restoration
If your toenail is damaged, thickened, discoloured, cracked, or partially missing after fungus, trauma or surgery, KeryFlex™ creates a flexible, natural-looking nail in a single appointment—so you can feel confident in open shoes again.
What is Keryflex™?
KeryFlex™ is a medical-grade nail restoration system applied by a podiatrist. It bonds to your existing nail or nail bed to recreate a thin, flexible, non-porous nail that looks and feels natural. Unlike salon acrylics or gels, KeryFlex™ is designed for compromised nails and adapts to movement—so it won’t rigidly lift, crack or trap moisture.
Who is KeryFlex™ for?
You may be a great candidate if you have:
Nails damaged by trauma (stubbing, running, sport, tight footwear)
Post-surgical or partially missing nails
Thick, brittle or discoloured nails (including after fungus treatment)
Ridges, splits or cracks that catch on socks and bedding
Cosmetic concerns affecting confidence at the beach, gym or events
KeryFlex™ is a cosmetic restoration—it doesn’t treat fungal infection. If we suspect active fungus, we’ll discuss treatment first and time the restoration appropriately.

What to expect at your appointment
Assessment – Your podiatrist examines nail health and eligibility for KeryFlex™.
Preparation – Gentle debridement (thinning and smoothing) to create a clean surface.
Application – Bonding resin is layered and light-cured to rebuild your nail shape.
Finishing – Shaped, buffed and polished to a natural sheen or nude tint.
Aftercare – You’ll leave with simple care tips and when to return, if needed.
Appointment length: Complex Appointment Type - 30–45 minutes for one nail (allow longer for multiple nails).
How Long Does It Last?
With normal growth and footwear, a KeryFlex™ nail typically looks its best for 6–8 weeks before a replacement is recommended. Longevity varies with nail growth, activity level, and footwear.
Can I Run, Swim and Wear Nail Polish?
Yes, you can resume everyday activities once cured (including running, gym and swimming).
Regular nail polish can be applied and removed with non-acetone remover.
Avoid acetone and harsh solvents as they can break down the resin.
